Spring is right around the corner (hopefully) so what better time then to book a spring "simple sweet session". These mini-sessions are a fantastic opportunity to capture some beautiful photos of your children. The date is Saturday, April 30th (rain date Saturday, May 7th). Tell your hubby you want this for a Mother's Day gift .. who needs another toaster oven, right?! Can't wait to see some old and new faces for the spring date!
My last shoot of 2010 was an adorable little 9 week old boy. I think he was captivated by the camera because whenever I would come near him he would put on his cutest little grin. He was quite the little charmer and I had a such a nice time with his parents. Thanks so much for the fun afternoon Marc and Kate. It was a pleasure to meet the three of you!
I can't say enough about how I love referrals. It is so wonderful to book a session knowing someone has been so kind to refer them to me. It was this case with this fabulous family. Originally from Switzerland this family had relatives visiting from Spain, so despite the language barrier we were still able to get amazing shots! These sisters are going to grow up being best friends since the three of them are 14 months apart. The goal was to get newborn shots of the baby but as soon as I laid eyes on the older twins I couldn't help but get some shots of them. I don't think their big round brown eyes could be any cuter! It was so much fun hanging out with the girls even though at times they were little unsure about the lady with the big black camera coming at them.
I can't help myself ... I just want to squeeze these adorable cheeks through the computer. This little darling was one of the many children I photographed this weekend. More to come from her and her two other sisters.
If these photos do not scream out "I am the sweetest thing on the block" I don't know what does! I met and photographed Claire only 6 short months ago and my oh my does time fly. Not only is she up and walking now but she has developed the cutest little personality. Thanks Paul + Christine for letting my document Claire's precious next phase of life.
This day could not have been any more perfect. The weather, the trees, the foliage, the children all worked so well together. This type of shoot is the reason I adore my job.
