Kim’s past career was as a writer and and editor for Glamor and Allure magazines and eventually she ran Bumble and Bumble’s PR world-wide for fifteen years. Late last year I had the pleasure of shooting for the newly launched Nestig brand. Sara + Gui, the founders have designed and produced beautiful modern convertible cribs that go from mini crib to full crib to toddler bed. In natural woods and whites these luxury styles are functional and stylish. JPMA certified to exceed safety standards and crafted with sustainable and non-toxic wood and materials.
I love when I get to merge a branding lifestyle shoot through interiors, still life and lifestyle photography. This was the case when I visited and photographed Joshua Smith. Josh is a professional coach and an interior designer based in NYC and Connecticut. His house is what dreams are made of … imagine your favorite Nancy Meyer movie. Each room is uniquely decorated and styled with just the right personal touches that makes a house a home. Perfection!
Last week had me back in Vancouver for two polar opposite events. One was to say goodbye to an old childhood friend who passed away suddenly, the other was to attend a workshop with a photographer and stylist who I’ve admired for years. Tracey Ayton is one of those talented people who is always the photographer in my favorite glossy Canadian interior design magazines. Timing was on my side and it allowed me to spend a fabulous day with her and two other creatives in her beautiful west coast seaside home. As you can see, every detail in her home is thought out to precision. The only regret is that I didn’t meet her insta-famous dog, Frankie!
